MIPIM Asia recently announced the winners of its 2019 awards, known as the “Oscars of the real estate world”. Guardian Art Center, Buro Ole Scheeren’s hybrid art center in the heart of Beijing, is among the three winners in the “Best Infrastructure Development” category.

Guardian Art Center won the Bronze ranking. The award was revealed at the annual MIPIM Awards Gala in Hong Kong at the end of November. MIPIM Asia recognizes some of the industry’s best projects in the Asia Pacific region.
The “Best Infrastructure Development” category recognizes “facilities and services which stimulate economic growth and quality of life improvement, such as airports, train stations, hospitals, cultural centres, libraries, stadiums, government buildings, logistic centres, etc.”
